To proactively cooperate with God communicating the message, values, acts and hope of the Gospel across cultural, linguistic and geographic boundaries. To empower ministers and missionaries to reach their highest potential in Christ and the works he has called them to.

How Our Purpose is Carried Out

Continue to lead the ongoing church planting and practical helps ministry of PGC in Mindanao.

Missionary training through the ongoing Ethnic Ministry Training program we established in 1994.: workshops and conferences, specific issue training at churches and seminaries.

Facilitation of mercy ministry outreaches to the poor in times of manmade and natural calamity.

Encouragement/Nurture through missionary and minister care events and activities

Mentoring and leadership development through personal coaching

Mobilization for missions through churches, conferences and seminars

Serving the local church to help identify and facilitate their role in God’s kingdom

Compassion...With Strategic Focus

Feeding children who are refugees from a violent blood feud and teaching them how to read allows us to express the loving Father heart of God. In the same communities, we are tutoring older children in our student centers and making disciples of Christ in a culture, that until a few years ago, never had a church among them. As supporters you are helping bring the tangible love and saving good news to a people who desperately need them both....Thank you.

Our Strategic Focus  

Nurture the young church among the unreached people group with which we work: to develop into a self-sustaining, self-reproducing representation of the body of Christ that will impact the rest of their culture.
Train, Coach and Mentor other missionaries, missionary teams and missionary organizations to excel in their church planting and kingdom building efforts.

Our Core Ministry Principles

Focus on the unreached (people groups that do not have an indigenous community of evangelical Christians with adequate numbers and resources to spread the gospel within the people group.)
We emphasize practicality over theory. We always endeavor to make our outreaches relevant to the real life situations of the people we interact with using resources and models that are reproducible in that community.
Indigenous sustainability. This is the metric for all of our church planting goals.
Obedience Oriented Discipleship (based on the clear mandate of Matthew 28:19,20) See our discipleship manual in articles and archives
Responsibility-based leadership development. Leaders don't develop in the classroom. We strongly believe in modelling the principles we wish to pass on through real life involvement with our disciples.
